BRCA Welcomes Hallie Harriman, PEC Conservation Staff
BRCA partners and friends, please welcome Hallie Harriman, who has joined the PEC Conservation Staff as their new Potomac Field Representative, working in Clarke, Loudoun, and Northern Fauquier. Hallie will be picking up Tracy Lind’s coordination role with the BRCA.
Hallie is a native Virginian, growing up in Shenandoah County. She graduated from Virginia Tech in 2016 with a B.S. in Natural Resources Conservation and minor in Forestry. She continued her academic work at the University of Georgia and completed her Masters of Agricultural and Environmental Education in 2020.
With a passion for practical and ethical land management, Hallie has pursued a variety of professional opportunities. She has worked for two state agencies (Virginia Department of Forestry and University of Georgia Cooperative Extension), as well as a private engineering firm. In all her roles, Hallie has strongly gravitated towards working with private landowners and forestry-focused projects. As part of PEC’s conservation team, Hallie is responsible for executing a diverse portfolio of land conservation, natural resource restoration, land use policy, and civic engagement efforts.
Hallie will be based in PEC’s Horner Street office in Warrenton. Her email is hharriman@pecva.org. Please feel free to contact Hallie on any matter of interest related to conservation in the BRCA service area.
In her spare time, Hallie enjoys hiking with her dog, “competing” in Jeopardy, and tending to her variety of houseplants.
Welcome aboard, Hallie!
