Living with Nature: Discovering the Rich Potential of Your Own Backyard

February 8, 2018 @ 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
War Memorial Building, Shepherdstown (map link below)

Join members of the Blue Ridge Conservation Alliance for an interactive discussion featuring excerpts from “Hometown Habitat,” a documentary that challenges traditional ideas about how we manage our properties and what we can do to promote biodiversity. Attendees will participate in conversations about:

  • the value of conscious stewardship for properties large & small
  • new ways of thinking about landscaping to preserve existing features and attract desired birds, bees, & butterflies
  • the importance of cultivating native plant species
  • simple stewardship practices & resources for home and property owners.

Light refreshments served at 6:30 pm. Program starts promptly at 7:00.

We are sorry but the event is now FULL and registration has been closed.

Thank you very much for your interest in our Living with Nature workshop. The response has been tremendous and we have reached our limit on registrations.

Please send an email to events@blueridgeconservation.org or use our contact form and we can inform you of any cancellations or the date of a repeat presentation in the near future.
