Birdathon Donations Take Flight
Have fun, count birds and raise money — that pretty much sums up what the Loudoun Wildlife Birdathon is about.
The Birdathon is our largest fund-raising event every year and helps to pay for our environmental education programs and conservation efforts. Learn more about the Birdathon here.
Like a walkathon, Birdathon participants collect pledges and donations from friends, family members, and co-workers for finding and counting bird species. From April 20 to May 19, 2024, teams of birders will be scouring the county (or just their backyards) for birds.
