22. Dry Mill Branch, Westpark
Site Description: This site is located on the Westpark property in Leesburg, about 0.2 miles upstream from the pond on that property, the outfall of which becomes Tuscarora Creek. This site is both a benthic macroinvertebrate survey site (in partnership with Virginia Save Our Streams) and a chemical monitoring site (in partnership with the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay’s RiverTrends program).

Certified Lead Monitors: Amy Ulland and Chris Henke started conducting benthic macroinvertebrate monitoring at this site in the fall of 2023. Loudoun Wildlife’s Chem Crew also started conducting chemical monitoring (in partnership with the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay’s RiverTrends program) at this site in September 2023.
