Writing in Nature: Storage
The topic for the July workshop brought some dismay, but as always, the 11 participants gave eloquent responses. The topic of storage was interpreted as accumulated items and brain storage. We talked about Amazon’s relentless deliveries that end up sitting on porches for days. Family treasures, memories of trips to far away places and all the items accumulated along the way are stored along with family art projects. Are they burdens for the next generation? What do we do with all this stuff? We paid attention to what nature does for storage, and how the delicate balance is disrupted by human endeavors. How can we improve by imitating nature?
