Wild About Loudoun Art Exhibit Moves to Middleburg Library
The “Wild About Loudoun!” art exhibit is now up at the Middleburg Library until June 28th, 2024. The exhibit includes stunning photographs of some of our rarely seen residents of Loudoun including the elusive Eastern Spadefoots that were found last year at JK Black Oak Wildlife Sanctuary near Lucketts. Photos include birds, butterflies, amphibians, insects and some remarkable photos of beautiful habitats found throughout the county. All images were taken in Loudoun County. Due to the smaller size of this library, only 22 of the 31 photos are on display. If you go, be sure to check out the meeting room in the back of the library where you can find seven additional photographs.
Each photo has a label with interesting facts about the subjects and comments by the photographers. Scannable QR Codes are included that link to information about how to become involved in related programs offered by Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy.
Thanks to the Loudoun County Public Library system, the exhibit will be on display throughout 2024. Upcoming dates are: Purcellville Library July through August; Brambleton Library September through October; and Gum Springs November through December.
