Where Your Food Really Comes From
In this virtual presentation, ethnobotanist Nan McCarry tells us about how humans transitioned into the age of agriculture starting around 10,000 years ago and some of the unintended consequences that arose. She describes how crops evolved, and the part that weeds and wild relatives, including some regionally native plants, play in this story. This program is co-sponsored by Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy and the Loudoun County Public Library.
