Seth Young

Seth joined the Land Trust of Virginia (LTV) in March 2018 as a Conservation & Stewardship Associate. In this role, Seth assists in the annual stewardship of LTV’s 200+ conservation easements, aids in the intake of new easement projects, leads the organization’s GIS program, and is responsible for outreach to landowners identified in LTV’s Blue Ridge Conservation Initiative. Seth has previously done conservation field work for a number of organizations including the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, Montana Conservation Corps, Maine Appalachian Trail Club, and Polk County (North Carolina) local government. In his free time, you can find Seth waist-deep in his favorite trout stream or out on a hike with his two dogs.
