David Lillard

David serves on the board of directors of the Land Trust of the Eastern Panhandle, a regional conservation group protecting land in Jefferson, Berkeley, and Morgan counties, West Virginia. From 2017 until 2020, he was on staff of The Downstream Project, supporting partners with communications strategies, websites, branding, video productions, and information campaigns. He previously worked with West Virginia Rivers Coalition on public lands campaigns and drinking water protection in the state’s Chesapeake Bay region. He is executive director of Catoctin Land Trust, and coordinates the Heart of Maryland Conservation Alliance — a regional conservation partnership collaborating to protect the Blue Ridge north of the Potomac River.
