Advocacy 101: The Zoning Ordinance Rewrite
On November 30, Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy hosted the third installment of the Advocacy 101 educational webinar series: The Zoning Ordinance Rewrite. Conservation Advocacy Specialist Trinity Mills gave an overview of the rewrite, currently one of the county’s biggest projects. Executive Director Michael Myers spoke about how the organization has been involved in the process thus far. Our guest speaker for the evening was Maura Walsh-Copeland, the Zoning Ordinance Committee representative for preservation and conservation organizations. Her informative talk highlighted successes in the rewrite process, as well as what to expect going forward as the process begins its final stages.
