On April 26th Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy hosted Advocacy 101: Environmental Justice. Kidest Gebre from Virginia Interfaith Power and Light was the featured guest speaker for this virtual program. Virginia Interfaith Power and light is one of Virginia’s top environmental-justice-focused organizations, and Kidest gave an insightful presentation on what environmental justice is, why it’s important, as well as how it can be enacted and encouraged.  The recording for the program is below. We encourage you to watch to learn about the background of what environmental justice is in preparation for our Environmental Justice Panel event to be held in the coming months.

Recordings of other  programs in the Advocacy 101 series can be viewed on the Virtual Programs page.
