Peterson Young Naturalist Program Lesson Plan Examples

Alliance Partners, Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy |

As part of the Peterson Young Naturalist Program, Loudoun Wildlife collaborates with Loudoun County Public School teachers to host two teacher trainings each school year. During those teacher trainings, activities and lesson plans are shared with teachers as examples of the types of activities that teachers can use in their classrooms as part of the nature journaling program. The lesson plans below have been shared with permission of the teachers who created them, and they are intended to be adapted for use in the classroom. Note: we will continue to update this page with additional resources and lesson plans.
