7. Beaverdam Run
Site Description: Beaverdam Run is a tributary of Broad Run, which flows into the Potomac River. This site is located in Ashburn near Broad Run High School.
Certified Lead Monitor: Michael Dunn started conducting benthic macroinvertebrate testing here in 2016. He also started monitoring sodium chloride levels at this site in 2020.

Ecological condition rating scores resulting from benthic macroinvertebrate surveys at Beaverdam Run staring in Fall 2016. This site has received a mix of acceptable, indeterminate and unacceptable ratings. These surveys cannot detect bacterial pollution.
